Project Description
To accommodate the continually expanding student population at Northern Kentucky University, the necessity for an upgraded student center with new dining facilities was in great demand. Our Interior Design team worked with Omni Architects to create both contemporary and classical spaces throughout the University Center. In the dining area, our culinary team created a shift from the traditional single-line servery and dining areas to a restaurant-style space. To achieve this, RND created process-based platforms, such as baking and grilling, which would be integrated into the seating area. Additionally, Ricca Newmark Design’s interior design team tied it together by incorporating vibrant seating options varying in color, height and style, ensuring that it would be a visually stimulating atmosphere.
