THE GREENBRIER HOTEL
White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia

This National Historic landmark, ultra-luxury market resort has hosted distinguished guests from around the world since 1778. Ricca Newmark Design was commissioned to convert the Greenbrier’s food and beverage program from the old “American Plan” to a more traditional outlet program, creating new destination food and beverage facilities that can compete with local restaurateurs. Each venue offers a memorable experience with its unique décor and distinct menu. The Hemisphere restaurant décor echoes a sense of Asian elegance. Architectural symmetry and Asian expression signifies a fusion of color, texture and form accompanied by an exclusive world class menu. The Lounge presents an escape to the unexpected with music, dancing and signature cocktails! Moroccan detailing and textiles compliment the leather clad walls and metal /onyx bar. Tuxedos Steakhouse embodies a timeless expression of warmth and luxury. Dark wood paneling, mohair covered banquettes and the ornate brass ceiling all provide the appropriate setting for the first class wine list and steaks. The Emerald Terrace embraces Southern tradition and grace. Colonial blue painted walls, grand cornices heavily adorned with trim and tassels, traditional moldings and crystal chandeliers create an enchanting experience of old world charm.
