THE MARSHALL HOUSE
Savannah, Georgia
The Marshall House was originally built in 1851 as a magnificent lodging place, and over the past 150 years had seen much deterioration. Prior to our client buying the building, it had been closed-up and empty for the last 40 years. Ricca Newmark Design was commissioned to bring The Marshall House back to life by re-creating the public spaces and guestroom spaces while maintaining a sense of history. The interiors were designed to be reminiscent of historical Savannah utilizing traditional southern furniture styling and color palette.
